Welcome to Trip Manta. By using our website and services, you agree to these terms. We’ve written them in plain English so you can actually understand what you’re agreeing to.

What We Do

Trip Manta is a flight and hotel price tracking service. We monitor prices for flights and hotels you’re interested in and send you email alerts when prices drop. We check selected flights 24/7, with active checks scheduled every hour.

Your Account

To use our tracking features, you’ll need to create an account. Your login credentials are handled securely by an authentication service. You’re responsible for keeping your account secure and for any activity that happens under your account.

Inbox Sync

Inbox Sync is optional and uses read-only Gmail access to identify likely flight confirmations from the prior 12 months and new incoming messages. You authorize Trip Manta to import bookings that belong to you or that you are authorized to manage. Imported alerts count toward the same Free or Pro limits as alerts you add manually. Email parsing is automated and may occasionally require your review. You can disconnect Gmail at any time.

Price Protection and Auto-Refund

Price Protection is optional. When you turn it on, you authorize Trip Manta to contact an airline and request an eligible fare credit or refund for supported imported bookings. Trip Manta will not cancel or change your itinerary. Airline eligibility, response, processing time, and the form of any credit are controlled by the airline and are not guaranteed.

The fee shown during setup is charged only after Trip Manta successfully secures a credit or refund, unless a valid promotion reduces that fee. You authorize the saved payment method for this off-session success fee. You can disable protection before a request is completed; requests already completed with the airline may not be reversible.

Important Disclaimers

Here’s the important stuff you should know:

• We don’t sell flights or hotels. We only track prices. When you’re ready to book, you’ll do so directly with the airline, hotel, or booking site. You’ll need to check their cancellation policy. We do our best to summarize airline cancellation and refund information but policies change and we aren’t responsible for policy errors; always double check directly with your airline.
• Prices come from third parties. We do our best to show accurate prices, but we can’t guarantee they’ll match exactly what you see when you go to book, and we aren’t responsible for any errors in pricing alerts.
• Prices change constantly. A price you see in an alert might change by the time you click through. That’s just how flight and hotel pricing works.
• We’re not responsible for booking issues. Read your airline’s cancellation and refund policy thoroughly, and understand the risks of canceling and rebooking a flight. We are not responsible for cancellation fees incurred by canceling and rebooking flights. If something goes wrong with your booking, you’ll need to work with the airline, hotel, or booking site directly.

Subscription Plans

Trip Manta offers a paid Pro plan at $59.99/year or $9.99/month, depending on the billing option selected at checkout. The Pro plan is licensed for personal, individual use only— for the account holder's own travel and price tracking. Pro is not intended or licensed for:

• Travel agents, travel agencies, concierges, or other professionals using the service on behalf of clients or third parties
• Businesses, teams, or multiple employees sharing access to a single account or using the service for organizational purposes
• Resale, sublicense, redistribution, scraping, or commercial use of any tracking results, alerts, or data we provide

We reserve the right to suspend, cancel, or terminate any account without refund if we determine, in our reasonable discretion, that it is being used in violation of these terms (for example, evidence of business or commercial use, account sharing, or use on behalf of multiple travelers). If you operate a business and would like to discuss commercial access, please contact us.

How We Use Your Data

We collect the minimum data needed to provide our service: your email address (for alerts), and the flights and hotels you choose to track. We don’t sell your data to third parties. We use analytics to understand how people use our site so we can make it better.

Service Availability

We do our best to keep Trip Manta running smoothly, but we can’t guarantee 100% uptime. Sometimes things break, servers go down, or we need to do maintenance. We’ll try to minimize disruptions, but we can’t promise the service will always be available.

Changes to These Terms

We might update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we’ll let you know. By continuing to use Trip Manta after changes are made, you’re agreeing to the new terms.
